Rare Authentic Georgian/Victorian Era Earrings!

Offered for sale is a truly gorgeous pair of Antique French Georgian/Victorian era precious enamel repoussé solid 18K gold earrings. Due to their extreme rarity, these elegant earrings date Circa late 1700s - 1830s and are Highly prized by collectors today. Gloriously crafted. Intricately detailed, clearly sculptural in form and beautifully styled in fine 18k yellow gold. Luminous mint condition white pearls, typical of that period, are surrounded by elegant and fine quality workmanship of fine sterling. Amazing tiny little filigree-like Fleur De Les style clover shapes and the articulated openwork filigree detailing adorns the open sides, top and bottom. Shiny high gloss black enamel which is in mint condition. Also featuring open backs to allow the light to illuminate through to the front. Again, these are not paste pearls, they are natural pearls and have been tested. A classic pair of original Georgian heirloom earrings in excellent condition. Condition: RARE, CLEAN, PERFECT. Gold, seed pearls, enameling are all in Mint Condition & Excellent! Absolutely GORGEOUS!

Pearls: Beautiful Luminous Seed Pearls in a classic Platinum-Silver-White Hue which are approx. 1.5MM each. 2 pearls in all. Silky smooth to the touch.

Style: Dangle, drop, dripping from the ear.

Metals: 99.99% of the earrings are hand-crafted of exquisite quality fine solid 18K, 18ct, 18 carats Yellow Gold (tested). The pearls are surrounded in elegant fluted floral cup shaped sterling silver (tested) like sometimes found on their brethren, "Georgian mine cut Paste Cluster style earrings".

Date & Origin: Late 1700s - 1830s and is French in origin.

Metal Color: The fronts and backs are gleaming in bright 18K gold. Sultry warm yellow gold with etched/etching intricacies. Stunning gold which is exquisitely hand-crafted as you can see. The rarest and the finest!

Hallmarks: Solid 18k. The earrings are hallmarked with a French mark that is an eagle’s head, in use since 1830s, indicating 18 karat gold. Assayed French gold is never lower than 18k. Also has another hallmarked which we can not make out and is too small to photograph clearly. The fluted Sterling with nestled pearls fronts are typical and quintessentially of the Georgian era. Leading us to believe that the earrings may have been hallmarked during the 1830's however, their actual creation dates much earlier, as in the late 1700's early 1820's.

Notable: These earrings uniquely fasten in the front of the earring. Larger than other tiny earring styles of this era, however, very comfortable to wear. Easy to put on and fasten so they will not get lost or fall out. These enameled stunners really stand out and make your face glow with a warm richness like no other.
