Extremely Rare petite 19th Century chatelaine style scent bottle flacon with finger chain. The condition is near pristine and is quite spectacular! The mouth blown Victorian glass is such a lovely turquoise color. Hand painted raised enamel gilt details, scrollwork berries and leaves attached to scrolling vines done in elegant gilt. Remarkably the original Flip top lid opens to reveal the original glass stopper. There is even decorative floral etchings on the top of the bottles lid which show through under the cap (see photos). The stopper is in mint condition, no cracks. Perfect. Interior glass is ultra clean and has absolutely no aroma. Not including the chain, this beautiful Perfume bottle measures 2 & 1/3" in height, including hinged cap. With chain this beauty is approx. 3 & 1/2" in length. Exquisite and of the Finest Quality. No Cracks. No Repairs. Minimal enamel gilt loss as shown. A true rarity indeed.
