Rare Authentic Victorian Era Earrings!

Offered for sale is a truly gorgeous pair of Antique Victorian (slightly after the Georgian era) earrings. Circa 1838. Gloriously crafted. Intricately detailed. Beautifully styled in rare 18k red rose-yellow gold. Lovely round luminous white seed pearls, each nestled into it's own dainty fluted cup, typical of that period. Bright gold surrounded by elegant and fine quality workmanship. Amazing tiny little filigree-like Fleur De Les shaped openwork detailing adorns the open sides, top and bottom. Also featuring open backs to allow the light to illuminate the sides. Again, these are real gemstones not paste. A very dainty and classic pair of Victorian heirloom earrings in excellent original condition. Would sell in any reputable Antique store for approx. $800+. Condition: RARE, CLEAN, NEAR PERFECT & absolutely BEAUTIFUL! One teeny tiny mark to one of the small balls on one of the earrings. However, the gold is so shiny that when worn and not being held an inch from your face, you can't even notice it. These earrings are breathtakingly intricate.

Victorian Pearls: In excellent condition and fully original to the design, free of cracks or chips. 12 Fine Pearls in all. Excellent luminous seed pearls in platinum-white hues which are approx. 2MM each. 12 pearls in all.

Unique Features: These rare and delicate Victorian treasures uniquely fasten in the front of the ear.

Style: Dangle, drop, hugging close gentle and dripping from the ear.

Metals: Tested as 18K, 18ct, 18 carats

Metal Color: Sultry Rose gold that looks like there may be some tiny yellow gold intricacies in certain lighting. Bright gold is exquisitely hand-crafted as you can see. The finest!

Hallmarks: These earrings are Fine Solid 18K Gold. The earrings are hallmarked with a French mark that is an eagle’s head, in use since 1838, indicating 18 karat gold. Assayed French gold is never lower than 18k. Also has another hallmarked which we can not make out and is too small to photograph clearly.

Size & Measurements: When latch is open they are approx. 3/4 in length at their longest.
